Audio Ministry - Fall 2008 Series:

Sound Words for Difficult Times

We live in difficult days. In the political arena there is confusion. In the financial world there is uncertainty. The various social agendas attempting to permeate our lives brings deep concern. Will our kids be safe? Is our future secure? We need sound words for these difficult days.

Warren Wiersbe rightly points out that Peter learned the importance of being alert: “He had a tendency in his early years to feel overconfident when danger was near and to overlook the Master’s warnings. He rushed ahead when he should have waited; he slept when he should have prayed; he talked when he should have listened. He was a courageous, but careless, Christian.”

This month’s sermon series focuses on the book of II Peter, which shows the development of maturity in Peter’s life and provides wisdom from God for difficult times. Join us as we look for truth in a culture which promotes falsehood.
